Lovecraft.  A grim tale of a young man fascinated by the “things” that lurk in the shadows of New England.  A perfect example of Lovecraft’s vision of the world.  He presents for us a place that is seemingly normal but filled with hidden truths and dark depths that are dangerous to explore.
